Design process

This was a design that I created using my mood board as inspiration, this was also my template for the shoulder piece I created. I quite like this design and how it almost looks skeletal or reptile inspired.

This was the third sample I created, I cut round a plastic cup and created the spirally effect of the creation.

This is my second sample out of the collection I created, I made it out of cutting the rim off of plastic cups and gluing them together using a glue gun. I quite like the way this one came out because it has an interesting texture and shape.

This is my first sample created. I manipulated forks together to create this.

Fashion - design process

We took our design ideas and worked it onto a mannequin to create an accessory out of paper. I decided to create a big shoulder piece for the contrast of it being so big and dramatic whilst being made so simply by just using paper. I wanted to experiment around with where what looked best and what would make it more successful. I quite like what I produced as initially I wasn't too confident on how it was going to turn out but after pursuing with this piece it turned out better than i thought.
